LEARN TO SEW
We have had many requests to teach Sewing Classes in
addition to our Quilting Classes.
Our aim is to help the beginning sewer learn some good
basic skills while making a useful item.
The Sewing Classes include;
Simply Pull-On Lounging Pants
Pull Over Top (Scrubs Top)
These classes are designed for folks who want to learn
to sew. The classes are being set up as a two session evening class or a one
day class with a lunch break.
Learn to Sew Flange Pillow
Learn to Sew Envelope Pillow
These classes are offered as separate classes or you
can sign up for both.
Begin
to learn the ancient art of hand embroidery by working on a simple tea towel.
This first class will cover some of the stitches needed to get you started.
Learn
this fun advanced sewing machine technique that requires knowledge of free
motion sewing. The fabric is actually turned upside down while you work on
this project. Because you need special threads to achieve the needed effect we
have prepared kits for our class.. Our project is a
small piece that can be used as a wall hanging.
Machine Embroidery Applique: At Needlelyn Time we now carry the Dalco Easy-Stitch Applique Kits.
Take advantage of them and appliquι with the easiest method yet. It requires an
embroidery machine with hoop, method of transferring designs from your computer
to your machine and a choice of kit. Come in and see our great selection of
designs and learn how easy this method works.

The fourth Saturday each month is Block of the Month
Open House. If you have any unfinished blocks and would like to sew them here,
please take advantage of this time. There is no charge and we are available to
give you the help you need to complete your unfinished BOM projects.
