LEARN TO SEW
We have had many requests to teach Sewing Classes in
addition to our Quilting Classes.
Our aim is to help the beginning sewer learn some good
basic skills while making a useful item.
The Sewing Classes include;
CLOTHING
This class is designed for folks who want to learn to
sew. The class is set up to help you construct a top that fits you.
HOME DEC

Begin
to learn the ancient art of hand embroidery by working on a simple tea towel.
This class will cover some of the stitches needed to get you started.
Hand Blanket Stitch Applique:
We now
carry a new pattern line that features ‘blanket stitch appliqué’. We’d love to
help you choose one of this very cute new patterns and show you how the stitch
is done.
Machine Blanket Stitch
Applique: Many
‘blanket stitch appliqué’ projects can be done of the sewing machine. However,
not all sewing machines come with the right stitch. Please check with us to
decide if your machine is a capable of giving you the right look. It is fun to
do and if you don’t enjoy hand work this may be for you.

The fourth Saturday each month is Block of the Month
Open House. If you have any unfinished blocks and would like to sew them here,
please take advantage of this time. There is no charge and we are available to
give you the help you need to complete your unfinished BOM projects.
