Quilting
Classes…
Beginning
Foundation Piecing: Use your scraps to make intricate blocks
smaller than you thought possible by mastering this easy method. If you can
count “1, 2, 3,...” and sew on a straight line then
you are already on your way to having fun with this class! It will open up a
whole world of possibilities.
Beginning
Patchwork: Step into the world of quilting with this
wonderful introductory class. Create a wall hanging while learning to piece by
machine. You will learn many tricks of the trade that will make even your first
project look good! This class is geared for the beginner who wants to try patchwork
piecing or for those who have tried it on their own and been dissatisfied with
the final result.
Complete this class by doing some basic machine
quilting.
Fabrics are pre-kitted for this class.
BQ
2 Quilt: This quilt has an up tempo look. It’s time for
big quilt fun with borderless construction and just three fabrics. If you are a
fan of the earlier BQ Quilt, you will no doubt enjoy this variation of the
theme.
Darling
Duet & Encore Table Toppers: Choose any of the
small table toppers in these patterns and you’ll be ‘singing the sweet song of success’. The toppers are very attractive and not difficult to make.
Fatty
Fatty 2 x 4 Quilt: A fat quarter quilt whose simple
construction will provide you with a fun way to display your fat quarter
collection. You’ll turn 20 fat quarters into a wonderful quilt in no time at
all.
Forever
Friends Wall Hanging: This is a very elegant looking wall hanging.
There are two different blocks used in the piecing. We’d recommend that you
have some quilting experience to do this project.
French
Delight Quilt: This beautiful new quilt features a
pieced block that is repeated throughout the quilt. The sashings between the
blocks form repeats of stars that add to the overall appearance of this queen
size quilt.
Jelly
Roll Quilt: What a fun quilt to make! Use pre-cut jelly
rolls (2 ½ inch wide strips) or cut your own. A great way to use a lot of
different prints in a project and still look organized! Any fabric theme would
work and you will surely feel very please with the end result.
Line
Dance Quilt: This quilt will ‘knock your socks off’. It’s not
difficult but uses the fabric colors to create an awe inspiring look. It is a
definite winner and you’ll earn lots of compliments with your creation.
Mosaic
Magic Quilt: The
magic in this quilt comes from a one block pattern.
The mosaic block is a modified log cabin block and the direction that the block
is turned creates the pattern.. It is very eye
catching.
Stash
Box Quilt: Nuggets of beauty are hidden in stash fabrics.
Discover the treasure in simple ‘boxes’ of fabric and create this quilt. Our
sample uses batiks, but any style of fabric will work.
Shoku
Quilt: Our selection of oriental fabrics continues to
grow. We have been featuring ‘geisha’ collects. This quilt would be a beautiful
way to highlight these fabrics or any large special print. The quilt pattern is
free with the class.
Table
Runner Workshop: Now you can come on ‘runner’ day and make
any table runner that we feature in our displays. Sit and sew and we will be
happy to teach you any of the tricks we have found in the runner patterns. This
should be a fun and fast way to get a new project completed.
