Specialty Classes…

Casserole Carrier: Do you love to go to potlucks, but always worry about how to safely transport your casserole? We have the answer to that problem and with the proper insulation you can keep your casserole hot or your cold dish cold. The carrier can be pretty yet practical and would make a wonderful shower gift.

Come join us for a fun, easy project.

Kitchen Accessory: A safety item that’s a must for every kitchen, it’s a good quality oven mitt. Because we always have gift ideas in mind, this item which is a double handed mitt would give you both a practical and attractive gift.

Learn to Sew Apron: This is a great way to learn to sew. The project has no fitting, sleeves to sew or difficult techniques. Just come learn the basics of how the sewing machine operates and how to have a successful first project.

My Catch All Bag: Bags are the ‘in’ thing to make. This one is roomy enough for lots of your favorite stuff and of course the necessities. It’s a soft but sturdy bag and you’ll be sure to want more than one.

Newport Bag: This is an old favorite in our store and a very easy bag to make. It’s roomy, fast and fun. The bag is fully finished inside with pockets both inside and out.

Machine Blanket Stitch Applique: Many ‘blanket stitch appliqué’ projects can be done on the sewing machine. However, not all sewing machines come with the right stitch. Please check with us to decide if your machine is capable of giving you the right look. It is fun to do and if you don’t enjoy hand work this may be for you.

Pick A Panel Project: We have been receiving some beautiful fabric selections that include panels. Some are unique and many have free pattern ideas available.

Why not pick a panel and come make a quilt top in a day? We have many of the panels already sewn into wall hangings and we’re sure you’ll find at least one you would like to use.
